The ancestors of these Gouramis came from East Asia, but now they live in aquariums all over the world. There are several species of Gouramis for sale in this store. In aquariums, Sunset Honey Gouramis can grow to be 2" long. Gouramis are usually not aggresive fish, but from time to time males may become territorial and quarrel with each other, but not in a harmful way. Some recommended tank mates for Sunset Honey Gourami include Danios, Small Loaches, Rainbows, Corydoras Catfish, and Tetras. Gouramis live best in a water temperature of about 78 degrees, with a pH of about 7 with moderate hardness. Sunset Honey Gourami do well in a 20-gallon tank, but bigger is always better.
