Pet Fish For Sale
Tiger Barbs are active swimmers and are rarely aggressive, but they do energetically quarrel with each other. They are fin nippers that will nip the fins of Angelfish, Betta Fish, and other slow-moving long-finned fish. The more Tiger Barbs in your aquarium, the less they seem to nip other fish because they seem more involved in interacting with each other. Tiger Barbs grow to be about 2.5" long, including their tails. Tiger Barbs are most comfortable at about 75 degrees F and water with pH of 7 with moderate hardness. Recommended tank mates for Tiger Barbs include other smaller Barbs, Rainbowfish, Danios, small Gouramis, and many other small to medium size aquarium fish.
